SF Dinners for Charity

The idea is simple, but the impact is powerful.
ChefAgain brings people together in our home, over a thoughtfully crafted multi-course meal worthy of a star or two (we think!)—an evening to reconnect with old friends, welcome new ones, and grow the ChefAgain community while raising awareness of food insecurity in our city.

Each dinner supports a local organization making a real difference.

Guests are encouraged to make an impact by donating directly to that organization or support them in other ways. Offer what you can.

Dinner Details:

  • Each dinner is open to four guests, but with a twist.
  • Two friends each bring someone ‘new’ to our circle —organically expanding our network and our collective impact.
  • Each guest is invited to bring a drink to share with the table.
  • Please give us advanced notice of any health-related food allergies. Otherwise, we encourage an adventurous spirit—every dish is crafted to be both delicious and memorable, but perhaps something new!

Edit this image to remove any people from the scene. Keep the intimate late-summer picnic setup in Golden Gate Park at golden hour, with the low wooden table on a woven blanket, floor cushions, seasonal produce, crusty bread, ceramic plates, linen napkins, wine bottle, and soft candlelight. Maintain the relaxed, romantic, understated atmosphere with natural colors and warm cinematic lighting, but ensure no people are visible in the image.

High temps move into the city for the start our glorious late summer.

A menu inspired by flavors I might pack for that perfect afternoon in Golden Gate Park.

  • Chicken liver mousse, seeds, nuts, sourdough
  • Grilled chicories, anchovies, “devil egg”
  • “Pasta Salad”: Farm ricotta agnolotti, roasted peppers, lettuce sauce
  • Duck breast “katsu”, orange curry, cracklings
  • Black-fig ice cream, pizelles
